The United States will help Myanmar after it was devastated by an earthquake on Friday that left 144 dead and hundreds more injured.
“We’re going to be helping,” the White house said this morning. “It’s terrible what’s happening. We’ve already spoken with the country.”
Trump’s announcement came after the leader of Myanmar’s ruling military junta made a rare call for international aid.
